Charleen Boucher

Charlie graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 2016. During her time at Chapman University she participated in research with the University of California, Irvine testing the use of Tele-Rehabilitation for patients post-stroke. The study of human mechanics and the art of movement have been a focus of Charlie’s entire life. She earned her way through the ranks in martial arts to become a third degree blackbelt and studied 3D animation and sculpture prior to pursuing her graduate degree in PT. Charlie completed her final clinical rotation at the Hospital de Quepos in Costa Rica, where she learned creative solutions using client’s environment and means to create achievable and lasting outcomes. She has experience working with a diverse range of diagnoses including Cerebral Palsy, Post-Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Traumatic Brain Injury. With internships in pediatrics, orthopedics, and inpatient PT, Charlie continues to expand her knowledge to bring the best, evidence based interventions to all of her patients.

In her free time she enjoys running, hiking, yoga, travel, volunteering and playing with her new puppy, Olive.
